BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Nicole Muncey, Executive Director (Communications)

Nicole started with the BCCMA in 2003, and her pride in promoting B.C. artists provincially and nationally has never wavered through her 6 terms with the Association. She has watched the Association develop through the years and is always grateful for the support of the membership in her endeavours on the Board. She has taken great pride in spearheading the Hall of Fame Project, Directors Awards Celebration, free membership and streamlining the awards rules including implementing online voting. She is looking forward to developing the Executive Director position and continuing with the Communications Department. She has also taken the chair of Special Events Director with the 09 CCMA Vancouver Bid Committee and is working with the Merritt Hall of Honour.

Don Adams, President (Sponsorship)

Linda Corscadden, Vice President, Membership/Volunteers

Linda is on her 6th term with the Board of Directors. She is a mother of a 14 yr old boy Ty, a sign writer by trade and has her own custom clothing company in the works. Linda's excited about this coming year with so many events being planned. She's looking forward to working with the Directors to see the BCCMA move forward and make it the best it can be. Having stomped her feet to the beat of country music for as long as she can remember, the love of this music will forever live on in her heart. She would like to thank everyone for their continued support, and a HUGE thanks to the best volunteer team a gal could have. Cya'll at the next event !!

Sue Irving, Secretary/Treasurer, Communications

Sue Irving has a long history in the Canadian music industry and is highly regarded by her peers. Sue worked for 16 years immersed in the performing rights world as the Administrative assistant to the National VP of Member Relations at SOCAN, Canada's performing rights society, representing over 70,000 composers and music publishers. During her tenure at SOCAN, Sue acquired extensive knowledge of the revenue streams, administration, protection and promotion of music copyrights. Prior to SOCAN, Sue was the Executive Director of the B.C. Country Music Association . Today, Sue handles administration for SueCo Music Publishing, a company she jointly owns with her husband Ron Irving.
Tom McKillip, Promotion/Sponsorship

Tom is the 2007 CCMA "Producer of the Year" for his production work on award-winning Aaron Pritchett's sophomore CD. Musician, singer and songwriter, Tom is also a multiple winner of the BCCMA "Producer of the Year", and 2007 "Country Music Person of the Year". He's passionate in his belief in the westcoast talent pool, and is excited about the new wave of artists that he's involved in developing.
Ron Irving, Artist Liaise

Ron Irving is a veteran Canadian singer/songwriter with over 100 songs recorded worldwide in 6 languages. Ron’s songs have been recorded by Anne Murray, Michael Bublé, Lee Greenwood, The Statler Brothers, Asian superstar Jacky Cheung, South African Idol Anke, Germany’s Pop band ‘Trademark’; Lisa Brokop Amanda Stott, Karen Lee Batten and numerous others. His “Holdin’ Out For A Hero” recorded by Danish artist, Wenche recently brought Ron home a Gold record! Many of his songs have been used in feature films, TV series, song folios, TV Commercials, karaoke and ring tones. Also an active performer, music publisher and producer, Ron currently produces tri-lingual Country/Pop artist, Ginette Genereux. Ron is a proud member of the BC Country Music Hall of Fame and has recorded 2 solo CD’s, Into The Blue and has just released You’re Not Alone. His songs have received national awards from both SOCAN and the Canadian Music Publishers Association.
Bob Saye , Promotion/Radio
Bob says he’s happy to be one of the newest additions to JRfm! He was born in Toronto but has worked in Vancouver radio since 1980. Outside of having a great job on the air, Bob is into running and helping people get a new start in the witness protection program! Often mistaken for a young David Suzuki, Bob is married with three children between the ages of 18-22 … Bob and his wife are still undecided on names for the kids.
Curtis Pope, Promotion/Radio

Curtis is the Afternoon Drive Announcer and Music Director for Country 107.1 . This is Curtis' first term with the board and he hopes his experience and his knowledge will help build the BCCMA bigger and better. Curtis is also a father of three young children which should help him deal with the rest of the board ... He's kidding ... well kinda anyway...

David Wills,  Artist Liaise

David Wills is an entertainment industry veteran, having experienced it from both the performing and business side.
As lead singer for the Canadian band Stonebolt, he saw chart success with hit singles in Canada and internationally.

David has a lengthy affiliation with Vancouver’s Sound Kitchen Studios, being involved with marketing and promotions, plus writing, commercial, and music production.
He co-manages multiple BCCMA award winners The Higgins and is motivated in helping develop and educate new talent.
