Kris was born in Calgary, AB into a very musical family.  He started on violin but eventually gravitated to every instrument in the band except saxophone.  At age 16, Kris decided the guitar was the instrument of choice for his musical aspirations.  Kris studied in the USA and Canada, touring internationally with different performing groups as a vocalist and instrumentalist.  Today, Kris resides in Mission with his wife, Nikki and his daughter, Lauryn.  Kris teaches music at Robert Bateman Secondary, runs an active private teaching studio and works on the side in audio engineering and production.  Kris loves all kinds of music, his CD player rarely has something you'd ever recognize, from funk, to hard core country.  He loves it all!
