During his sprawling canvas of a career Danny Mack has performed throughout Canada, in the USA, Australia and Europe playing the full spectrum of venues from intimate coffee houses & soft seat theatres to festivals and arenas with many thousands in attendance. He is equally at home fronting a rocking five piece country band or sharing the spotlight with his acoustic guitar. He has shared stages and bills with many of the greats…. most recently with Corb Lund, Chip Taylor, John Prine, Peter Case, Kevin Welsh, Kieran Kane & Lynn Miles and in the past with the hippest acts in the business…B.B. King, The Doors, The Byrds, Tommy Chong (Cheech & Chong), native spokesman Chief Dan George, John Lee Hooker, The Sir Douglas Quintet, Jerry Jeff Walker……..et al   Danny Mack is an extraordinarily entertaining and compelling live performer. He is able to connect on many emotional levels with his audiences through his poignant earthy lyrics that are refreshingly free from abstract mysteries…..he tells it like it is.  Many of Danny’s songs spin stories of pain, love and loss – themes he is adept at tackling – he has lived it all. The messages are raw and startling delivered with his signature gritty whiskey stained voice.  The man however has never lost sight of the humour and absurdity found in the human condition and has the rare ability to move an audience from tears to laughter with tales of his adventures and characters met during a life time on the road. Danny’s music is sought out by movie and television producers. His songs have found their way into film and television productions including “We All Fall Down” (Martin Cummins, Barry Pepper, Ryan Reynolds), “The Barber” ( Malcolm McDowell), “Punch”, “Just Cause”, “Cold Squad” and the award winning mini series “Human Cargo”.……etc.
